Edition 2025 — Saint John the Baptist at Boeo
The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint John the Baptist in Marsala was celebrated on June 24th, the day of the Nativity of the Baptist, keeping alive a centuries-old tradition deeply rooted in the Marsala community. The church of San Giovanni al Boeo, on the promontory of Capo Boeo, opened its doors to the faithful with Eucharistic celebrations throughout the day, also offering the opportunity to visit the evocative Grotta della Sibilla Lilibetana hidden in its basement. In the evening, the Lungomare Boeo came alive with traditional fireworks, a highlight that every year draws families, residents, and visitors to one of the most beautiful spots in the city, between the sea and the Lilibeo Archaeological Park.
