Edition 2025 — Saint John the Baptist

In 2025, Canicattini Bagni once again renewed its celebrations in honor of Saint John the Baptist, a sign of growing popular devotion to the Baptizer. The late June festival brought the Iblei village community together for moments of tradition, music, and conviviality in the historic center, with stalls dedicated to typical local products.

The 2025 edition of the celebrations in honor of Saint John the Baptist confirmed the deep roots of this event in the life of Canicattini Bagni, a town in the Iblei mountains in the province of Syracuse. Around the traditional date of the Nativity of the Baptist, June 24th, the historic center hosted popular festivities that combined religious observance with conviviality.

The event, promoted by the local community with the support of the Municipality, served as a meeting point for families and visitors, following a tradition that becomes more cherished in Canicattini Bagni year after year.
