Feast of Saint Francis of Paola (April)

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Francis of Paola in Cefalà Diana was celebrated on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, on the day of the patron saint's memory. From the morning, the drum parade announced the start of the festivities through the village streets. In the Mother Church, dedicated to Saint Francis of Paola, a solemn mass was celebrated, followed by the traditional distribution of Saint Francis biscuits, votive sweets that are a symbol of the local popular devotion. In the afternoon, the statue of the saint was carried in procession amidst prayers and hymns, with great participation from the community of the small municipality in the province of Palermo, Sicily.
