Feast of Saint Domenica Virgin and Martyr

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Domenica Virgin and Martyr took place as part of the summer festivities of Santa Domenica Vittoria, which the Municipality announced from August 28th to September 8th, 2025 on its official channels, including both the co-patron Saint Domenica and the patron saint, Saint Anthony the Abbot.

The day dedicated to the Saint followed the traditional ritual of the Nebrodi Mountains village: in the morning, the committee collected offerings through the village accompanied by the marching band, the afternoon was enlivened by traditional games in the square, and in the evening, after the solemn mass, the Vara procession with the statue of the Saint was held. The return to the church was greeted by the hymn «Viva Santa Domenica» and the final fireworks display.
