Edition 2025 — January Feast of Saint Ciro

The 2025 edition of the winter feast of Saint Ciro took place on January 31st in Marineo. After days of rosary, confessions, and Holy Masses (Jan 28-30), the Patron Saint's day featured numerous Eucharistic celebrations, the blessing of the Water and Oil of Saint Ciro, and concluded with the solemn evening procession of the relic.

In 2025, the "Santu Ciru puvureddu" feast took place on January 31st at the Parish of S. Ciro and S. Giorgio Martiri in Marineo, on Piazza S. Sigolene. In the preceding days (January 28-30), the rosary, confessions, and evening Holy Mass were held at 6:00 PM. On January 31st, after the Holy Masses at 9, 10, 11, and 12 AM, the blessing of the Water and Oil of Saint Ciro was celebrated, followed at 6:00 PM by the solemn Mass with the kissing of the relic. After the rites, the traditional bonfire of Saint Ciro was lit and blessed, while the climax of the feast was reached with the procession, which accompanied the Sacred Relic of the Patron Saint through the streets of the town.
