Edition 2025 — Saint Celestine the Martyr
2025 Feast of Saint Celestine the Martyr in Bovino
The 2025 edition was held on October 11th and 12th. On Saturday, October 11th, from 8:30 PM, the old town welcomed the "Autumn Flavors" Festival with seasonal specialties from the Monti Dauni, entertainment by the Bersaglieri, a gluten-free station, and a silent party at midnight; a portion of the proceeds was donated to AIL (Italian Association against Leukemia).
Sunday, October 12th: at 8:30 AM, the arrival of the Bersaglieri fanfare with flag-raising and parade through the city; at 11:30 AM, the procession of Saint Celestine the Martyr; in the afternoon, a friendly match at the Regina Margherita field, the Bersaglieri concert along Corso Vittorio Emanuele (4:30 PM), the laying of the commemorative wreath (7:00 PM), and, in closing, fireworks at 9:00 PM. The event was organized by Pro Loco Bovino, the Confraternity of the Good Death, and the National Bersaglieri Association, with the San Celestino Festival Committee.
