Edition 2025 — Feast of Saint Canius

From May 16 to 25, 2025, Acerenza celebrated Saint Canius Martyr with a week of faith, music, and emotion: evening novena in the Cathedral, concerts, dressing of the bearers, and on May 25th, solemn mass, procession, and midnight fireworks.

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Canius took place from May 16 to 25. Every evening at 6:00 PM, Holy Mass and the novena were celebrated in the Cathedral. Among the events: the official dressing of the Saint's bearers (May 23rd), the concert by the Banda Città di Acerenza, and a tribute to Pezzali/883 (May 24th). The highlight, Sunday, May 25th, featured morning masses, the solemn Mass presided over by Msgr. Giovanni Ricchiuti, the 7:00 PM procession with the band, the "In-Canto Tour" show with Tiziano Cillis, and at midnight, fireworks by Pirotecnica Moderna of Genzano di Lucania.
