Feast of Saint Blaise 2025 in Caronia

The 2025 edition confirmed the vitality of the devotion of Caronia toward Saint Blaise, patron saint and protector of the Nebrodi village. On February 3rd, the day opened with the marching band parading through the streets, followed by holy masses and, in the afternoon, the solemn procession of the statue on a float adorned with flowers, bread, and torrone offered by devotees.

As per tradition, the cuddure (ring-shaped sweet breads) and the throats of the faithful were blessed with candles. The summer feast on the second Sunday of August brought many emigrants back to Caronia, featuring a procession, musical moments in the square, and fireworks to close the festivities.
