Feast of Saint Blaise Bishop and Martyr

In 2025, Monguzzo celebrated its patron saint Saint Blaise with the customary solemn ceremonies in the parish church of Saints Blaise and Sebastian. The masses were attended by civil and religious authorities from the area — from the mayor to the president of the Province of Como, and the Valle Lambro Park — fostering a strong sense of community involvement.

As per tradition, the 'Premio Biagino d'oro' was awarded, the civic merit award with which the town recognizes the solidarity efforts of citizens and local organizations, confirming the link between the religious and civil dimensions of the festival.
