Edition 2025 — Saint Anthony of Padua in Soleto

On June 13, 2025, Soleto celebrated its patron Saint Anthony of Padua with the usual program of religious and civil celebrations. The day featured solemn masses and a procession with the saint's statue in the historic center, while the evenings offered music, illuminations, and a fireworks display with the release of hot air balloons into the Salento sky.

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the patronal feast of Soleto (LE) took place on June 13th, the liturgical day of Saint Anthony of Padua. The Grecìa Salentina community participated in solemn masses at the Mother Church of Maria SS. Assunta and the procession with the saint's statue through the village streets.

As per tradition, civil festivities accompanied the devotion: illuminations, brass band concerts, Salento folk music, convivial moments, and the final fireworks display with the evocative release of hot air balloons, a distinctive element of the Soleto festival.
