The 2025 Sant'Antoni Grande in Seclì

The 2025 edition of the patronal feast of Saint Anthony of Padua in Seclì (Lecce, Apulia) confirmed the vitality of a centuries-old tradition. The days preceding the feast were dedicated to the Antonine Rosary and the triduum in the parish church. On the eve, the solemn procession of the Saint's statue took place through the streets of the historic center, accompanied by the sound of the band and greeted by fireworks.

The secular celebration offered illuminations that covered the village in light, traditional brass band concerts in the square, and fireworks displays during the main evenings. As is customary, the event also drew numerous Seclì emigrants back to the town, renewing the community's bond with its patron saint.
