Edition 2025 — Feast of Saint Anthony
2025 Edition
The 2025 celebrations for the Patron Saint of Favara took place from June 1st to 13th, organized by the Pastoral Unit of the Historic Center, a sign of a devotion that the citizenry has rediscovered after many years. Every evening, the Mother Church hosted the 7:00 PM Eucharistic celebration, with dedicated spiritual moments such as the Pentecost vigil, the anointing of the sick, and silent adoration.
On the solemnity of June 13th, three Holy Masses were celebrated (at 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM, and 7:00 PM), followed by the act of entrusting the city to the Patron Saint. The day culminated with the procession of the statue, which departed from Piazza Vespri and wound through the streets of the historic center, with the statue carried on the shoulders of devotees named Antonio and accompanied by the Giuseppe Lentini marching band.
