Edition 2025 — Saint Anthony Abbot
On January 17, 2025, Cervara di Roma celebrated Saint Anthony Abbot according to tradition: the bonfire in the square, the procession with the saint's statue, the blessing of pets and agricultural products, fireworks, and a community dinner with typical products of the Simbruini Mountains village, in the province of Rome.
The 2025 Feast of Saint Anthony Abbot confirmed the strong bond between Cervara di Roma and its rural and devotional roots. As every January 17th, the community gathered around the saint's propitiatory fire, with a procession through the streets of the historic center and the blessing of pets. There was no shortage of fireworks and a dinner in the square with local products, moments that make this celebration one of the most cherished events in the Cervara winter calendar.
