Feast of Our Lady of the Traglie

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Our Lady of the Traglie was held on Sunday, July 27, in Gambatesa (CB). The statue of Our Lady of Victory was brought from the fields to the village on traglie loaded with wheat sheaves, from the Madonna's Chapel to the Church of San Bartolomeo Apostolo, passing through the San Martino district and the symbolic handover of the keys. The day alternated between the blessing of the wheat, the Solemn Mass, and the afternoon threshing in the square; in the evening, the parade of the folk group "Le Gemme del Matese" and the food and wine stands concluded the festival, in that "perfect mix of faith and culture" that distinguishes it.
