In Cucciago, a municipality in the Como area of Brianza, in the Province of Como, the Feast of Our Lady of the Snows is the event around which the town's summer revolves. It is a long review, spread between July and the first days of August, which combines music, culture, food and wine, and community moments.
Between Corte Castello and the sanctuary
The heart of the event is Corte Castello, the most evocative part of the historic center, which serves as a stage for concerts, wine tastings, cultural evenings, dialect theater, shows for children, and traditional dinners, complete with craft markets. The spiritual reference is the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Snows, Cucciago's identity symbol.
A village tradition
Organized by the Municipality of Cucciago together with local associations, the feast brings together different generations and also attracts visitors from neighboring towns. With fried dumplings, a beer festival, and musical evenings that end with fireworks, the Madonna della Neve remains one of the most successful summer festivals in the Province of Como, capable of enhancing the historic center of the village.
