The 2025 Edition

The 2025 festivities in honor of the Patron Saint of Petrosino began on Sunday, May 25th on Viale Francesco De Vita, with a rich program of religious, cultural, and recreational appointments. Among the most popular events were the end-of-school-year musical evening with the orchestra and choir of the "G. Nosengo" institute, culinary evenings dedicated to couscous and sfince with chef Paolino Lupo, the theatrical evening by the Accademia della commedia e dell'arte group, and entertainment featuring Ricchi e Poveri cover music.

The highlight was reached on Saturday, May 31st: after the holy masses and the handing over of the city keys to the Madonna by Mayor Giacomo Anastasi, the procession of the statue began at 7:30 PM along Piazza F. De Vita, Via Pio La Torre, Via Gianinea, Via S. Giuliano, and Via dei Platani, before returning to the church. The evening concluded at 10:30 PM with traditional fireworks. The feast closed on Sunday, June 1st, with the repositioning of the Madonna's statue.
