Edition 2025 — Feast of the Catena

In 2025, San Piero Patti celebrated its patron saint, Maria SS. della Catena, on the Sunday following Easter. The community gathered for the three-day preparation, Holy Masses in the Mother Church of San Pancrazio, and the solemn procession of the statue through the village, while the market and the Maccheroni Festival enlivened the town center.

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Maria SS. della Catena confirmed the deep devotion of the Nebrodi village to its patron saint. After the three-day preparation period marked by the Rosary and Holy Masses, the wooden statue was carried in procession by the Confraternity of Maria SS. del Rosario through the streets of San Piero Patti, accompanied by the brass band.

Alongside the religious dimension, popular festivities were not lacking: the traditional market along the main streets and the central square, and the Maccheroni Festival with live music, which attracts visitors from the entire Nebrodi district in the province of Messina every year.
