Feast of Maria SS. della Catena

The 2025 Feast of Maria SS. della Catena was celebrated on Sunday, September 7, 2025, the first Sunday of the month, in the Castello district of Fiumefreddo di Sicilia (CT), in the Province of Catania.

The celebrations, organized by the Maria SS. del Rosario Parish of Castello, followed the usual schedule: the novena with daily religious services and the children's floral tribute, the noon fireworks display, the solemn Mass, and in the afternoon, the procession of the statue through the decorated streets of the district, amidst prayers and popular participation. There was no shortage of food stalls with local products and entertainment moments that traditionally enliven the feast.
