Feast of Maria SS. dell'Udienza

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Maria SS. dell'Udienza in Roccella Valdemone took place, as per tradition, during the Ferragosto period. On August 14, the statue was transferred from the Church of Santa Maria dell'Udienza to the Cathedral of San Nicola di Bari; on August 15, in the late afternoon, the solemn procession took place through the streets of the historic center of the Nebrodi village, in the province of Messina.

In 2025, the highlight remained the "audience" granted by the Madonna in Piazza Duomo, where families presented their little ones to the Virgin to receive her blessing. The celebration brought together residents, returning emigrants, and visitors, confirming the strong identity value of this tradition inscribed in the Sicilian Intangible Heritage Register.
