Feast of Maria SS. d'Altomare

The Feast of Maria SS. d'Altomare 2025 in Mola di Bari was held on July 5 and 6, renewing the centuries-old bond between the Mola community, its protector, and the sea. On Saturday, July 5, the solemn Eucharistic celebration was followed by the procession of the Madonna towards the harbor and embarkation on the fishing boat Scintilla. On Sunday, July 6, Holy Mass, the water carousel with Mola boats, the return to the harbor and procession through the city streets, the blessing of the sea, and the final Mass took place.

The final evening offered a musical show and the traditional fireworks, while artistic illuminations and the notes of the band accompanied the two days of celebration throughout the city center.

Saturday, July 5, 2025 — Solemn Eucharistic celebration in the parish garden; procession of the Madonna towards the harbor and embarkation on the fishing boat 'Scintilla'.

Sunday, July 6, 2025 — Holy Mass at the church of Loreto; water carousel with Mola boats; return to the harbor and procession through the city streets; blessing of the sea and final Holy Mass; evening musical show; fireworks to close the festival.
