Feast in Honor of Maria SS. di Costantinopoli (Patronal Festival)

The 2025 Edition

The patronal festival in honor of Maria SS. di Costantinopoli took place in Bitritto from February 23 to March 5, 2025, with the culminating moment set for Tuesday, March 4, the first Tuesday of the month. After the preparatory novena in the Mother Church, the solemn day combined liturgical celebrations with the well-attended procession of the venerated statue along the streets of the historic center.

On the secular side, there was no shortage of traditional brass band concerts under the bandstand, monumental artistic illuminations, the fair with its stalls, the amusement park, and the unmissable daytime fireworks competition, which in 2025 also attracted numerous enthusiasts from Bari and neighboring towns, confirming the festival as one of the most heartfelt events at the beginning of the Apulian patronal festival season.
