Edition 2025 — Saint Nicholas Feast

In 2025, the Feast of Saint Nicholas the Bishop in Aradeo took place on May 10, 11, and 12. Three days of festivities in honor of the patron saint, with solemn mass, brass band concerts, flag-wavers, live bands, and the characteristic procession of the statue on a papier-mâché boat, closed by fireworks. The historic mercantile and livestock fair was held in the Bambo district.

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Nicholas the Bishop, organized by the Saint Nicholas the Bishop Parish of Aradeo, was spread over three days, May 10, 11, and 12, 2025. Alongside the religious celebrations, the civil program offered brass band concerts, flag-waver shows, and live musical band performances in the historic center of Aradeo, in the province of Lecce.

As per tradition, the statue of the Saint was carried in an evening procession on a papier-mâché boat, commemorating the transfer of the relics from Myra to Bari, ending with fireworks. In the Bambo district, the mercantile and livestock fair took place, with carts, carriages, horses, and agricultural product stalls.
