Fastuca Fest 2025: the ninth edition
From September 18 to 21, 2025, Raffadali hosted the ninth edition of the Fastuca Fest, the celebration of the Raffadali PDO Pistachio, included in the calendar of Agrigento Italian Capital of Culture 2025 and Sicily European Region of Gastronomy 2025.
The event kicked off on Thursday, September 18, with the inaugural cake and the opening of the Taste Trail, featuring about 30 participating companies, accompanied by the Raffadali ceramics exhibition curated by artist Nada Murena. Among the culinary highlights were cooking classes on fresh Emilian pasta with chef Carla Brigliadori and a meeting between the excellences of Emilia-Romagna and the Raffadali pistachio, in addition to the 'La Terrazza degli Dei' cooking show with chef Max Ballarò. Saturday was dedicated to health and wellness with the 'Piazza della Salute' and free screenings by the Agrigento ASP, while live concerts, children's workshops, and cultural activities animated the squares throughout the festival. Admission was free.
