Farfilò

In 2025, the Gruppo Teatro Angrogna presented Farfilò/2 — chants populaires en deçà et au delà des Alpes, hosted in France by the "Cabrières Hier et Aujourd'hui" association from June 26 to 29, 2025.

Through a collection of songs in Italian, French, and Occitan from the Waldensian Valleys tradition, the show allowed the French audience to explore the linguistic and musical analogies and differences between the two slopes of the Alps. Highlights of the performance included a new version of a famous folk song and an adaptation of "Le vieux chalet," reinterpreted through the history of the Cà d'la Pàis of Bagnoou in Angrogna, which was bombed and burned in 1944.

That edition laid the foundation for the third version of the show, presented in 2026 in Luserna San Giovanni and Provence.
