Fanny Mendelssohn International Music Festival (MusikArte Festival)

The 12th edition of the Fanny Mendelssohn Festival offered sixteen concerts between March 28 and May 29, 2025, confirming the formula that weaves together great chamber music, artistic heritage, and the local area in the Province of Pisa, Tuscany. The inauguration was held in the evocative setting of Palazzo Blu, in Pisa, with the Swiss cello duo Claude Hauri and Milo Ferrazzini Hauri.

Among the most significant events were the concert by flutist Tommaso Benciolini with guitarist Lorenzo Bernardi at the Museo della Grafica, the first of the musical marathons at the Villa Medicea di Coltano with four concerts on the same day, and the performance of the Forte Trio, the State Trio of Kazakhstan, at the Pieve di San Casciano in Cascina. At Villa di Corliano, the Russian cellist Sergey Antonov, gold medalist at the 2007 Tchaikovsky Competition, performed accompanied by Swedish pianist Carl Pontén.
