FAM 2025: half a century of the fair

The 50th edition of the FAM - Mediterranean Agri-Food Fair was held from Friday, September 26 to Sunday, September 28, 2025, in the new exhibition area on Via Prof. Vincenzo Malfitano, in Ragusa. An important anniversary for one of Sicily's longest-running agricultural events, organized by the Interprovincial Breeders' Consortium.

The edition occupied over 23,000 square meters with 58 agricultural machinery stands, 27 livestock exhibitors, and 35 spaces reserved for Sicilian agri-food excellence. The program offered livestock shows, tastings of local products, workshops on agricultural innovation, thematic conferences, show cooking with local products, and equestrian performances. Ample space was given to Ragusano DOP, in the year Ragusa was named City of Cheese. Admission was free, with a shuttle bus service from the Palaminardi parking lot to the fair entrance.
