Edition 2025 — Autumn Fair of the Sanctuary

In 2025, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Sorrows in Castelpetroso also hosted its traditional autumn fair on the fourth Sunday of September, with the pilgrimage, religious celebrations, and stalls animating one of the most important places of faith in Molise.

The Fair of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Sorrows is the second annual fair linked to the Sanctuary of Castelpetroso, in the province of Isernia. In 2025, it took place on the fourth Sunday of September, coinciding with the autumn recurrence of Our Lady of Sorrows, combining the pilgrimage and religious celebrations with the traditional market stalls.

The day attracted faithful and visitors from all over Molise, confirming the Sanctuary's role as one of the most significant pilgrimage destinations in Central-Southern Italy.
