FAI Spring Days in Carini

The 2025 FAI Spring Days, now in their 33rd edition, took place on Saturday, March 22, and Sunday, March 23, 2025, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the founding of the FAI - National Trust for Italy (1975). Across Italy, over 750 sites of history, art, and nature were opened in approximately 400 cities, thanks to the work of 350 FAI Delegations and Groups and the Apprendisti Ciceroni. The event recorded more than 400,000 participants and was awarded the Medal of the President of the Republic.

In Sicily, and specifically in the province of Palermo, the FAI Carini Group participated in the initiative by opening local historical-religious heritage sites, accompanying visitors with guided tours led by local students. The 2025 edition confirmed the strong roots of the FAI Spring Days in local communities and the importance of youth volunteering in heritage preservation.
