Fabula 2025: four evenings in the square

The second edition of the Fabula festival brought Piazza Giovanni XXIII in Francavilla Fontana to life from 26 to 29 July 2025, as part of the "Un sacco bella" summer programme promoted by the Municipality. All shows were held at 9:00 PM, with free admission and non-reservable seating.

The programme opened on Saturday, 26 July, with the dialect comedy «Calabbò e lu zziu ti Roma» by the Il Sipario company; on Sunday, 27 July, the musical theatre show «A Mimmo – omaggio a Domenico Modugno» was performed. Monday, 28 July, featured the musical «È una storia che vi sorprenderà – La Bella e la Bestia 3.0» by the Compagnia Teatrale Mino di Maggio, directed by Gianluca Cervellera with choreography by the Four Art Academy. The event concluded on Tuesday, 29 July, with «Aldo Moro – la verità negata» by the I Teatranti company, a text by Giuseppe D'Angelo based on the book by Gero Grassi regarding the kidnapping and murder of the statesman.

Blending popular culture, music, and social commitment, the 2025 edition confirmed the festival's vocation: to showcase the talents of the Puglian region and bring theatre back to the heart of the "City of the Imperials".
