Expo Turismo – Art, Land and Nature of Salento

The sixth consecutive edition of Expo Turismo – Art, Land and Nature of Salento took place on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Exhibition Center of Miggiano (LE). Along the streets of the exhibition district, papier-mâché artists, masters of Lecce stone, wrought-iron and wood artisans, and local painters and sculptors alternated alongside producers linked to the land and organic farming.

Ample space was given to gastronomy, with stands of traditional Salento dishes and tastings of local wines, oils, cheeses, and sweets. The evening culminated with the Ridiamoci Sud Festival, one of the largest comedy festivals in Southern Italy, which brought Giampaolo Catalano, the duo I Malfattori, and Gli Scemifreddi to the stage of the equipped square for a hilarious show with free admission.
