Experimenta 2025: the 26th edition at Villa Donnaloja
The 26th edition of Experimenta concluded in Alberobello with three evenings—Thursday, July 3, Friday, July 4, and Sunday, July 6, 2025—in the garden of Villa Donnaloja, in the Rione Monti, among the town's trulli. The events, at 9:00 PM, combined music, cross-pollination of languages, and reflection.
The opening night was dedicated to world music, with Kurdish multi-instrumentalist Ashti Abdo and Gambian kora player Jali Babou Saho, accompanied by the Nidoja duo (cello and electronics). The closing on July 6 featured "Azzurro per te", a blend of music and words on the theme of femicide, with texts by Osvaldo Capraro, music by Martino Palmitessa, and the voice of actress Giusy Frallonardo, preceded by the cello recital "A Delicate Revolution" by Antonio Cortesi.
