Edition 2025 — Eustachio Barrel Rolling Palio

The 19th edition of the Eustachio Barrel Rolling Palio took place on Sunday, December 28, 2025, in the historic center of Riposto, with the theme "Tradition, history... and wine." The barrel-rolling teams of the districts competed by pushing large barrels along the city course, amidst flag-wavers, costume parades, and tastings of Etna wines, in a day of celebration organized by the Pro Loco of Riposto.

The 19th edition of 2025

The 19th edition of the Eustachio Barrel Rolling Palio was held on Sunday, December 28, 2025, in the historic center of Riposto (Catania), under the theme "Tradition, history... and wine." The city's districts fielded their barrel-rolling teams, recognizable by their social colors, to compete for the trophy along the traditional city course.

The day featured performances by flag-wavers, costume parades, and tastings of local products and Etna wines. At the end of the challenge, the winning district and the best-decorated district were awarded, in a celebration that confirmed the strong bond of the Riposto community with its history and wine culture.
