Edition 2025 — European Night of Museums
On Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Barletta participated in the European Night of Museums promoted by the Ministry of Culture, with special openings of the Castle's Civic Museum and the "Giuseppe De Nittis" Art Gallery for a symbolic 1 euro ticket. Inside the Castle, visitors could explore the Ancient Gallery, the 19th and 20th Century Gallery, the Cafiero Gallery, and the Lapidarium. The heart of the edition was the exhibition "The Civic Museum of Barletta: a century of stories": eighty paintings, drawings, books, and documents preserved in the Civic Museum and the "S. Loffredo" Municipal Library told the story of over a hundred years of the Barletta museum institution.
