The 2025 Music Festival in Atessa

The 2025 European Music Festival was held in Atessa on Saturday, June 21, with an edition dedicated to the theme of Peace. The event featured 247 artists, including professionals and amateurs: 14 musical groups, soloists, choirs, orchestras, DJs, dancers, and folk groups.

The historic center hosted performances in eleven squares and iconic locations of the village: Piazza Garibaldi, Largo Torretta, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Palazzo Spaventa, the Sassu Museum, the 'Ndriano Arch, Largo San Nicola, Largo San Gaetano, Piazza Benedetti, Piazza Municipio, and Piazza Oberdan. The most evocative moment was the performance of approximately 70 drummers playing in unison in Piazza Garibaldi, under the direction of Maestro Carlo Porfilio, with the involvement of "La Casa del Batterista" and local music schools Ars Antiqua and Il Pentagramma. The event, organized by the Municipality of Atessa, was free to attend.
