Edition 2025 — Piazze d'Europa

The thirteenth edition of Piazze d'Europa took place in Follonica from Friday, March 21 to Sunday, March 23, 2025, with about one hundred exhibitors distributed along Viale Italia, Piazza XXV Aprile, and Piazza a Mare. The major European street market, organized by FIVA Confcommercio Grosseto and the Municipality of Follonica, offered gastronomy and crafts from numerous European countries and Italian regions, with stalls open from 10 AM to midnight.

The 2025 edition of Piazze d'Europa, the thirteenth, brought about one hundred exhibitors to Follonica for three days of European street market. Along the Viale Italia seafront, Piazza XXV Aprile, and Piazza a Mare, visitors could sample specialties such as Argentine empanadas, Balkan gastronomy, Apulian dairy products, and herbal infusions from the Piedmont mountains.

The event reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability by obtaining the EcoAction certification from Legambiente as a low-environmental-impact event: electricity from 100% renewable sources and waste collection stations distributed throughout the fair. A now-traditional appointment that marks the spring awakening of this Maremma seaside town.
