Edition 2025 — Etrurban
The origins of Etrurban
Etrurban – Open-Air Art was born in 2025 as a widespread public art project designed for Rome's Municipio XV, the territory extending north of the capital along the consular roads, Cassia and Flaminia. The initiative is promoted by the Associazione Inscena and takes shape within the "Roma tutto l'anno" program, the public call through which Roma Capitale supports cultural activities in the city's various districts.
The name combines Etruria and urban: a nod to the Etruscan roots of this part of the Lazio region, just a stone's throw from ancient Veii, and simultaneously to the project's urban and contemporary vocation. The goal is to transform the streets and squares of North Rome's neighborhoods into an open-air artistic trail, free and open to citizen participation.
