Etnica – Mugello Global Groove in Barberino di Mugello

The twenty-seventh edition of Etnica, renamed for the first time Mugello Global Groove, took place from June 26 to 29, 2025, with its epicentre in Vicchio and the involvement of several Mugello municipalities, in the province of Florence. The musical programme alternated big international names and high-impact Italian artists: Alborosie, London Afrobeat Collective, Cimafunk, La Maschera, Peppe Voltarelli, Cisco Belotti, Sandro Joyeux, Afrodream, Sinedades, and the Staino/Mocata/Coscia trio.

Alongside the music, the 2025 edition offered photographic exhibitions and artistic installations, cultural meetings in the new Corte Santoni Guidi, an ethnic market, and street food from all over the world. Admission to the historic centre of Vicchio was set at 5 euros, with a 12-euro pass for all days, while the widespread concerts in the other municipalities involved a symbolic entry fee.
