Etna Mushroom, Apple and Chestnut Festival

The 2025 Etna Mushroom, Apple and Chestnut Festival was held at Parco Angelo D'Arrigo in Pedara on November 7, 8, 9, and 11, 2025, with hours from late afternoon until midnight and earlier opening times on Sunday morning.

Organized by Etna Eventi Management with the Municipality of Pedara, the event featured numerous stalls dedicated to Etna porcini mushrooms—including the prized Boletus aereus—as well as local apples and chestnuts, accompanied by Sicilian street food, show cooking, craft exhibitions, guided tours, children's play areas, and a funfair. Admission to Parco Angelo D'Arrigo (north entrance from Piazza Giovanni Lo Coco, south entrance from Via Don Giovanni Bosco) was free, with nearby parking and a camper area available to visitors.
