Etna Extra Virgin Olive Oil Festival

The 1st Etna Extra Virgin Olive Oil Festival was held in Camporotondo Etneo (CT) on Saturday, October 18, and Sunday, October 19, 2025, starting at 4:00 PM on both days, between Piazza Sant'Antonio Abate and Via Umberto. The event sealed the municipality's entry into the national Città dell'Olio network.

Highlights included: the 'La Capinera' folk show with Sicilian carts, the symposium on Sicilian olive growing 'between identity and innovation', the ribbon-cutting ceremony with the tasting of the longest 'pane cunzato' in Sicily (70 meters), and in the evening, tribute bands (paying homage to 883 and Vasco Rossi) and a comedy show with Concetta Lazzaro. Both evenings were hosted by Manuela Melita. The festival also featured show cooking, street food, local crafts, and visits to the Peasant Museum.
