Estra Florence Marathon

The 41st Estra Florence Marathon took place on Sunday, November 30, 2025, with a start at 8:30 AM from Piazza del Duomo. It was a record-breaking edition: 10,195 finishers in the marathon (a historical record for the event, surpassing the previous one from 2013), athletes from 104 nations, and nearly 12,000 total finishers including the 10K race (1,801 finishers).

In the men's category, the Italian Badr Jaafari (Atl. Casone Noceto) triumphed in his debut at the distance, with a time of 2h09'58", the second-best performance of the season for an Italian in a marathon. Among the women, Tsega Desta Mheari won in 2h30'37". Perfect weather conditions and a warm crowd accompanied the runners along the streets of the Renaissance.
