Edition 2025 — Este Città del Natale

The 2025-2026 edition of Este – Città del Natale enlivened the historic center from November 22, 2025, to January 6, 2026, with the ice skating rink in Piazza Maggiore (open until January 18), Christmas markets, a carousel, Santa's House, a nativity scene trail, and over sixty events including concerts and street performers.

During the 2025-2026 holidays, Este once again proved itself the City of Christmas with a program of over sixty events. Piazza Maggiore hosted an enlarged ice skating rink, a carousel, and Christmas markets, alongside Santa's House and the "Este nei Presepi" trail. Events included concerts by local choirs and bands (from the Coro Summertime to the Municipal Band of Lozzo Atestino), street performers, and a New Year's Eve dance party at PalEste.

Historic Center – November 22, 2025 / January 6, 2026

  • Ice skating rink in Piazza Maggiore (until January 18)
  • Carousel and Christmas markets (Piazza Maggiore, Piazza Trento, Opere Parrocchiali del Prà)
  • Santa's House
  • "Este nei Presepi" trail, Porta Vecchia nativity scene, and mechanical nativity scene of Motta d'Este
  • Christmas concerts with local choirs and bands
  • Street performers and street bands

December 31st

  • New Year's Eve dance party at PalEste

Prices

Markets are free to enter; the ice skating rink is ticketed (approximately 5 euros with skate rental).
