Edition 2025 — Estate Pescolana

In the summer of 2025, Pescopennataro again hosted Estate Pescolana, featuring the Sagra della Scamorza e della Lesca Cincialosa and a rich calendar of excursions, traditional games, climbing, live sculpture, open-air theatre, and dancing evenings, in the village of fir trees nestled in the National Park.

The 2025 edition of Estate Pescolana enlivened Pescopennataro from July to August. Among the events, the Sagra della Scamorza e della Lesca Cincialosa brought the typical flavours of the Molise mountains to the town square — scamorza, lesca cincialosa, schiaffune and pallotte. The programme included guided excursions, traditional games, sport climbing, the mixed relay race, the live sculpture competition and the stone carving exhibition, as well as dancing evenings and open-air theatre, confirming Pescopennataro as one of the most vibrant summer destinations in Alto Molise.
