Edition 2025 — Estate in Fortezza
The 2025 edition of Estate in Fortezza took place from July 4 to August 22 at the Medici Fortress of Arezzo, confirming the multidisciplinary vocation of the festival promoted by the Fondazione Guido d'Arezzo. The program intertwined scientific outreach, music, dance, and entertainment, with open-air evenings in the evocative setting of the Medici bastion.
Among the most popular events were the physics show La Fisica dell'Estate with Vincenzo Schettini (July 4), the radio tour of La Zanzara (July 21), the ABBA tribute with Abbadream (July 24), the concert by Enrico Nigiotti (July 29), and the tribute to Ennio Morricone's Oscar-winning music (July 31). Closing the season was the 40th International Festival of Folk Singing with choirs from Germany, Venezuela, Hungary, China, and France.
