Estate all'Olmo 2025 — 31st edition

From 4 to 10 August 2025, Piazza delle Benedettine, in the historic centre of Fondi, hosted the thirty-first edition of Estate all'Olmo, with evenings starting at 9:00 PM. The festival, curated by the Associazione di Servizi Culturali Confronto together with the Municipality of Fondi, was included in the Estatissima 2025 programme, the city's summer calendar which also featured the International Folklore Festival (39th edition), the Fondi Film Festival – Riviera d'Ulisse (24th edition), the Fondi Music Festival (14th edition), and the Notte Bianca on 12 August.

Comedy in the Fondi dialect

The heart of the 2025 edition was the return of the Nuova compagnia di Teatro Popolare "Nino Canale" with "I due badanti", a two-act comedy in the Fondi dialect performed on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 August starting at 9:30 PM. Organiser Carlo Alberoni recalled how a vernacular comedy is a staple of every edition of the festival, highlighting the "theatre within the theatre" dynamic proposed by the show. The other evenings confirmed the festival's established formula, featuring live music, screenings, and events linked to the popular traditions of the Fondi area.
