Edition 2025 — Biennale Arte

In 2025, La Biennale di Venezia presented the 19th International Architecture Exhibition, while the Biennale Arte continues its biennial schedule in even-numbered years. The exhibition activity between the Giardini, Arsenale, and the city attracted an international audience of art and architecture enthusiasts to Venice.

La Biennale di Venezia alternates between the International Art Exhibition (even years) and the International Architecture Exhibition (odd years). In 2025, the Giardini and the Arsenale hosted the event dedicated to architecture, confirming Venice (VE) as the international capital of visual culture. The anticipation for the 61st International Art Exhibition, opening in 2026, fueled artistic debate in the city throughout the year.

Programme

In odd-numbered years, La Biennale di Venezia dedicates its venues to the International Architecture Exhibition; the International Art Exhibition returns in even-numbered years, as in the 2026 "In Minor Keys" edition.
