An equinox celebration of rustic food, nature, and wellness in the heart of the Castelli Romani
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
As the autumn equinox arrives, the Parco Romano Biodistretto in Ariccia, nestled in the heart of the Castelli Romani near Rome, opens its doors for the Equinox - Autumn Festival at Parco Romano. This sister event to the Summer Solstice, both conceived and organized by Fustock, serves as the perfect way to bid farewell to the warm season while celebrating the fruits and slow rhythms of the Lazio countryside. For an entire day, from morning until sunset, the park becomes an open-air village where nature, rustic gastronomy, and wellness intertwine in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.
The heart of the festival is Parco Romano, located at Piazzale dei Daini 1, a green space of great environmental value characterized by ancient oak trees and the "Baptism of the Trees" trail, featuring twelve trees dedicated to ancient Roman deities. Situated within the Castelli Romani Biodistrict, the park is a symbol of the short supply chain and sustainable agriculture in Lazio, where visitors can purchase fresh products directly from local small-scale producers.
Gastronomy is a star of the festival. The park hosts a short supply chain farmers' market, where numerous local small farms offer fresh, seasonal produce. The rustic kitchen serves traditional autumn dishes, paired with craft beers from the Fustock microbrewery. Options include:
Alongside the food, a large area is dedicated to wellness: the relaxation zone hosts yoga sessions, meditation, and holistic disciplines, as well as treatments such as reflexology, reiki, and Ayurvedic massage. These offerings, designed in harmony with the symbolic meaning of the equinox, invite participants to reconnect with nature and the rhythms of the seasons.
Live music accompanies lunch and evening hours, while children can participate in creative workshops and play activities. Special attention is paid to sustainability, with displays of recycled crafts inspired by the three Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). The result is a multidisciplinary, family-friendly festival that combines the pleasure of dining with environmental culture, reflecting the agricultural and landscape identity of Ariccia and the Lazio region.
Fustock has not yet announced the official date and program for the 2026 edition of Equinox - Autumn Festival at Parco Romano in Ariccia. The festival, which celebrates the autumn equinox with rustic food, craft beers, and wellness activities, usually returns in September at the Parco Romano Biodistretto. The confirmation of the 2026 Summer Solstice suggests the autumn event will also return. Updated information will be available on the official website and the organization's social media channels.
The Parco Romano Biodistretto is located at Piazzale dei Daini 1, in Ariccia (RM), in the Castelli Romani area.
