Emigrant's Festival

The 2025 Emigrant's Festival was held on August 9 in Piazza Municipio, starting at 9:00 PM. The event, organized by the ASD Acquaviva association together with Calogero Noto, was one of the most heartfelt moments of the 2025 Acquaviva Summer, the calendar of events that brought the village of Acquaviva Platani (CL) to life from July 27 to August 17.

The evening was dedicated to local products, music, and entertainment, welcoming back Acquaviva emigrants who returned to the village for their summer holidays. The festival was part of a series of summer events, ranging from the White Night to the Porchetta Festival, as well as concerts and theatrical performances that preceded the religious celebrations in mid-August.

The Emigrant's Festival took place as a single evening event:

• 9:00 PM — Opening of the evening in Piazza Municipio, with tasting of local products
• Live music and entertainment dedicated to returning emigrants

The evening was part of the 2025 Acquaviva Summer program, which in the surrounding days also featured the Summer Carnival (August 8) and "Corrida's got talent" (August 10) in Piazza Plado Mosca.
