Edition 2025 — EMF Jazz Week

The 2025 edition of EMF Jazz Week brought original jazz to Lanciano as part of the Estate Musicale Frentana. The inaugural concert in Piazza Pace featured the Young Spirits 4et with trumpeter Giovanni Falzone, while the Social Music Laboratory involved musicians of all levels in the spirit of improvisation and shared listening.

EMF Jazz Week 2025

In 2025, EMF Jazz Week opened its jazz week on July 6 in Piazza Pace, in Lanciano, with a free concert by the Young Spirits 4et, featuring Giovanni Falzone on trumpet, Diego Albini on piano, Enrico Palmieri on double bass, and Antonio Marmora on drums, in a program dedicated to the music of Duke Ellington and Falzone himself.

The festival concluded on July 10 at the Parco delle Arti Musicali with the final concert of the Social Music Laboratory, the inclusive project directed by Giovanni Falzone that brings together professional musicians and amateurs every year to focus on improvisation and playing together. An edition that confirmed the role of EMF Jazz Week as a reference point for jazz in Abruzzo.
