Edition 2025 — Nativity Scenes in Val Rendena
The 2025-2026 edition of "Embrace of Light — Nativity Scenes in Val Rendena" took place during the Christmas season, with Nativity displays spread throughout the villages of Val Rendena. In Spiazzo, the bas-relief nativity scene on Swiss pine panels carved by Nicola Cozzio was displayed in the main square, alongside the traditional nativity scene set up in the parish church.
On the evening of January 1, 2026, the customary New Year's torchlight procession, organized by the Pro Loco of Spiazzo, was held, guiding residents and visitors through the village's nativity scenes. Admission to all Nativity displays was free of charge.
