Edition 2025 — Scrippella Festival

In July 2025, the village of Elice hosted a new edition of the Scrippella Festival, part of the Estate Elicese program. For several evenings, the streets and squares of the historic center came alive with stalls serving the traditional Abruzzo fried pizza, accompanied by arrosticini, sausages, porchetta, and typical dishes, along with live music and performances organized by Pro Loco Elice.

Scrippella Festival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Elice Scrippella Festival was held in July in the historic center of the Pescara village, as part of the Estate Elicese 2025 program promoted by the Municipality. The food stalls offered the famous scrippella, the fried pizza made of flour, water, and yeast, served plain or stuffed and accompanied by arrosticini, sausages, prosciutto, and porchetta, as well as traditional dishes like mugnaia and ravioli.

The evenings, curated by Pro Loco Elice with ASD Elicese Calcio, alternated tastings, live music, and performances, confirming the festival as one of the most attended summer events in the Pescara hinterland.
